Deep Tissue Massage

Service Description

This type of massage is aimed at the deeper structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses all of the same movements and techniques utilized in a Swedish massage, but the pressure is generally more focused and static pressure is held for a longer period of time. There is no pain involved in my technique. Depending on what muscles are priority of concern, it may not involve the full body treatment as I will work to release chronic tension in an area that is causing the most loss of function and reduced range of motion.
